Very strange thing to say. "Confident"? Confidence obviously implies doubt, certainty doesn't. And, in this case clearly suggests the player has his eyes on even more Riyals from the same tainted pot. Perhaps Howe is not as articulate as he thinks he is. I think he'll stay mind. But he could be an unhappy bunny if enough are on more cash then him. He's clearly their best footballer.
Apparently Isak is on £120k per week, when the likes of Casemiro is on £350k, then obviously he’ll be away. Newcastle won’t pay him that kind of money, even though they claim he’s the best striker in the world. Bruno is their top earner and he’s ‘only’ on £160k.

Lad and two daughters went to watch oasis yesterday. Lad left early morning to get at the front. Said two mags ranting on about Newcastle, slagging Sunderland off and how they "cannat waeet ta hammer tha Mackem b*st*rds" blah blah, rent free. Sad cùnts. Lad pulled his phone out, showed them the Sunderland crest and said "there's only one decent team in the north east lad" Daughters said there were a load shouting red and white army by them.
The best thing is all other footy fans have now twigged that they are the worst, went from everyones second team apparently in the 90s to everyones most hated
They've always been the same, but sadly the media don't report it. Then fans of other clubs who only know about them casually think they're ok until the experience them first hand. "The best fans in the world" who chanted through a minutes silence for Bobby Moore live on TV, who invaded the pitch to get a match they were losing abandoned twice (us in 1990 and against Forest in 1974, where it worked out for them), who smashed up their own city centre after failing to win the league in 1996, who chucked Mars bar wrappers filled with concrete at Gaza when he came back after they sold him to Spurs because they needed the money (talk about ****ting on your own), the idiot who tried to sue them through the trades description act for not playing football, the horse puncher, the shop shouting, mock funerals, badly spelled bed sheets and dozens (at least) of other protests over the years. I'm old enough to remember the 80s, when the most common chant at Sid James' was "sack the board". That only changed when Hall bought them, then came out with his "Geordie nation" bullshit and splashed a load of money. At any other club, fans behaving like that would be ridiculed in the media, it would be reported and discussed openly and regularly. But not with them, the media are more bothered about showing pictures of fat blokes with their shirts off, middle aged men with bed tea towels on their heads or full kit ****ers. And social media? It's just a race to the bottom for them, either idiots doing embarrassing, stupid stuff for likes and clicks or ****ers encouraging them because they think it's clever. And all this to try and play up to the media inspired image of them as "the best" and "most passionate" fans around, desperately trying to "up Geordie" themselves with fake displays of passion and emotion, desperate to hide their insecurities about actually not being that great or have someone say they aren't passionate enough. Pathetic, really.
I know a few lads who swapped from us to the mags when Keegan joined them. If you mention it now they totally deny it as though it never happened. One was my brother in law who says he’d go with me for our home game and the mags the next ( like lads used to do ) I always replied, who was the bloke who stood next to me at the away matches then who sat in the car/bus. Silence, gormless idiots.
