Well Oasis were rather jolly good and more than passed my expectations, Richard Ashcroft did a Verve / Urban Hymns set and was the surprise bonus, Cast... Some nice songs, good musician, can see why they never made it big. It also pisswd it down for various parts of the day. The £1 plastic poncho was a game changer
Did it turn into a mud bath? Our friends went today, one of the girls turned up in white trainers and none of them brought a coat We met them in Manchester so she could borrow my missus’ boots and gave them some poncho’s. Think we might have saved the day there haha.
