    Spent 5 months out last season with a muscle injury but he's an experienced defender at Championship level. If injuries aren't a major concern moving forward then, given the circumstances we're in, it seems like a sensible appointment.

    In 23/34 Macca...started 13 games from minute one....He was used as a sub, coming on on 10 occasions....(League games only)

    So figured in one way or other in 50% of the games...
