Yea assad killed 500k but if the sunni muslims who are barbarians (reference suckys posts for the types) he has to finish off the people who would want to rampage through Syria and destroy the peace. Yea a few innocents died but thats all collateral damage. 500k over 13 years is fewer than the 60k killed israel have killed in the past year and a half. If you dont believe hamas should exist and that there will be some collateral damage to get rid of them as they are an existential threat to israel, what difference is it for assad to "defend" his side of Syria?

Behind a distasteful joke is (as is often the case) a serious matter. In genocidal events, are you going to use the total number of deaths / death rate etc as the objective arbiter of which event is the worse.
Syria is just internal strife. The Israel state were attacked by terrorists from across the border. Not sure Benny has been using chemical weapons on his own people, so can’t really compare the two.

Assad's 'side of Syria' was the Alawite minority who constituted just 10% of the population. This would be the equivalent of a Christian government coming to power in Israel and then instigating a massacre of its Jews in order to "keep the peace".
