I was talking in the context of his commentary/professional capacity.. As all my points were in that context, I thought that was obvious?
I obviously hear a lot of his commentaries now he's doing the Tigers+ commentaries. I think he's good much better then the guy he replaced who came in after Fletch left. I like him a lot more now he hasn't got Peter Swan next to him prattling on about bollocks
I’ve been on that show a few times reading my poetry, considering he is more a music man I loved some of his feedback, seemed to like what I’d written. I totally agree about that morning show it was really good, he’d always help the little people ( not midgets lol ) especially if they had a problem with the council or a large firm.
Met Burnsy accidentally in a pub. He’s a top bloke and a great advocate of the region. Why some have such an odd and aggressive opinion on him is completely baffling.
Kofi smiles is ****ing useless, it sounds like you’ve dragged someone off the street and put a mic in his hand…
Don’t mind Burnsy. We’ve had a lot worse. Seems to actually want us to win which is nice. Swanny I have less time for.
Well it was all supporters whinged at at the time. Slutsky got fired as we were in the bottom 3, Nigel came in and settled us, spent 18 months but left as he knew the budget was getting cut substantially again and that it was going to be a tough job. We got lost players like Marshall and Campbell only to replace them with players on a fraction of the money.
Good enough to commentate for radio 1. And he wasn't an allam yes man he broke the name change story for ****s sake.
It's that painful listening to him trying to pronounce things and almost forgetting where he is, it's easier to listen to the opposition commentary
