Also what’s a legal tackle, does it always go long cutting out the guys in the middle

Three points for a goal and allowed four steps before either hand passing or putting it on hurl. Bear in mind these guys are full amateur and earn nothing

 

Gnonto's tackle is legal but only just

 

Doesn’t always go long but it’s a great option. Shoulder to shoulder is allowed. Chopping down with hurl or striking opponent is not

 

Would love to smack the ball with a hurling stick and see how far it goes.

 

Ball is nearly like a stone. I can hit it about 40 metres at my best. That cork goalie is hitting it 100

 

I was just going to say, throw a duck stone in the air and hit it with a bat to give you some idea

 

Game of two half’s but quite entertaining.

 

It’s a great game especially live. I go to at least a game a week during summer
