In the 1990s my dad had a mid range office job as a publicity manager. We had a decent house car & a holidays every summers my mum didn't need to work. An average house in Colchester Essex 1980 was £20k now it's £300k The average wage in 1980 was £6k now it's £30k So wages have gone up 5 times & houses 15 times . Yes most of our problems are self caused by importing a dependant class that will never be net positives financially or socially. Importing millions of people obviously drives down wages pushes up house prices & puts too much strain on our public services
