I actually agree, that they probably are war crimes, mate. I’m sure this has been discussed before, though. They’re incredibly hard to prove. Targeting religious buildings is a war crime, however, if there’s a military objective to it, for example, it’s being used as a weapons stash, enemy operatives are inside or underground, then it’s a legit target.
Close to 1000 killed in Syria's sectarian clashes in the space of six days. Makes the IDF look like a bunch of rookies tbh.
Genocides all over the Middle East. They’ll be waving their Syria flags in London next weekend and the lads on here will be emotional about what’s happening in Syria, right now. Surely.
Just have to hope neither side gets backed with the level of munitions that Israel has received ... but mathematical equations and acceptable genocide ratios etc... ~ Citizen Kant, 2025
So does a thousand deaths in 6 days which may well be more than Israel has done at anytime during the war against Hamas, not matter as much because of the weaponry involved?
The tears over this is hilarious. Bellends are complaining that they’re being arrested for breaking the law More than 100 people protesting the decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a terror group have been arrested across the UK. Demonstrations in support of the pro-Palestine activist group took place in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol and Truro on Saturday.
This suits the government just fine. NHS is broken. Inner cities are crime ridden. Public services are falling apart. Cost of living is spiralling. Keep people angry about a river and a sea thousands of miles away, and none of that ever needs to be fixed.
Anti-Zionism not antisemitism update. The pot is simmering and I don’t think anyone with the authority has the will or ability to stop it boiling.
Seen a few of the Alex Crawford reports in Syria, must be mad to be anywhere near that place (Sweida province), I hope they get paid well. I can't tell you who is fighting who, because I don't think they know, you just pick up a gun and fire it in any direction you want. Mass looting and at some point these ****s will run out of food and water. She looks like she is under the protection of slightly more organised group of soldiers today, Syrian army maybe, not got a clue.
The west wanted rid of Assad. But as usual we didn't really have a clue about the 'what next' phase of any of these situations. True he was a horrible piece of work, but we weakened him to a point where a terrorist group then swept to power and then we were like 'oh ****' we're gonna have to work with these people... A pattern repeated across, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria etc Now that Israel have attacked Syria on the back of protecting the Druze 'read securing the Golan Heights' it has inflamed all sorts of internal tribal factions and another power struggle.
I’ll accept the blame for Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s a ****ing stretch and a half to try and put the blame about Syria onto the west. We never ever had boots on the ground there. Ever considered they’re just backward Stone Age ****s out there still hunting about in tribes? It’s all sectarian **** going on out there and always will be. Just read the last bit and you’re putting the blame about Syria, onto Israel. Wow
I don't think some of those fighting know what they are fighting over, just destroying the place. Was watching some Druze guy yesterday, he was in an area with loads of armed gunmen, I swear he only went over to the media because he knew it might offer him some kind of protection (it did in that moment, who knows later). Dead Druze only meters away.
