Strange that Argyle hadn't arranged a Saturday friendly yesterday ? Quite a few comments elsewhere that our pre-season friendlies are becoming very low key and opponents very poor.....without any quality opposition for most of them.....noticeable year by year that the games are becoming more unsatisfying............and not to have one on a pre-season Saturday in favour of an in-house friendly seems strange,
I don’t know when it was scheduled for but the next game after Truro was to be an in-house. 11 v 11 game. The idea was to allow two full teams to step up to playing minutes.
Needs to be more competitive at this time of pre-season......you can have an in-house 11x11 anytime.........you need desperately to be sorting out your strongest eleven.....and at least introducing them to each other.....so may changes and permutations to sort through and with a new manager and playing systems to learn. The Bristol C game is rather late to find out your not up to speed.......so few friendlies.
Womens Football.......if you can't beat em....then join them. I see London City Lionesses have signed a goalkeeper called Sophia POOR.........you couldn't make it up could you.
