Stepping it up Millar and Belloumi were both out on the training pitch and doing their own work. The pair were doing their own programme with and without the ball, and at one point, Millar managed the best part of 90 metres in just over nine seconds, and he looked rapid. During a shooting drill at the end, Millar had one pop and stuck it in the top corner, much to the amusement of the watching Slater and Crooks. As a makeshift left back he was more than competent, and in most games he played at CB he was more than capable and technically strong - no idea where the comment above about him being technically deficient comes from. Yes he struggles with pace but he wouldn't be the first CB to have that as a weakness who can still do a good job at this level. To only get 500k is bonkers.
We had the 4th best defence in the league when he played at LB and he improved us there defensively. The numbers/stats don't agree with your perception. He was a more traditional LB, instead of this new breed where they're more like wingers but a defensive liability. Call me odd, but I quite like having defenders that can defend.

I dont know, as I dont watch much football outside if city and ferriby, but Burnley felt he was good enough to have around last year, surely he has something to give. I have not seen any pre-season so have no idea if he's like a walking weeble trotting around the pitch.
If we’d had a decent left back last season, McLoughlin would have spent most of last season with his arse parked on the bench. The money reflects his value as a player in the last year of his contract.

Anyone got Nixons story? The longer we wait without knowing when the decision is made the more the season will be unorganised and disaster. Some saying the it’s not actually a decision and more of guidance. Who knows? But to wait any longer without signing some players is madness. Acun needs to revaluate what he wants from this season. Reaching for the Premier League is near on impossible but the wait for a ‘supposed’ decision will land us in trouble even worse than last season.
