I'd think the manager and coaches will be very pleased with some of the interplay especially as it's the first time they've played together.

The new players will, in my opinion, have given the squad a bit of a shock and make them realise they may have to step up their game.

I'm not saying they can't do it but Le Fée, Diarra & Sadiki have set the standard for energy, ball recovery and one touch passing.

As someone said yesterday the players look leaner and sharper so the coaches are clearly having an effect.

It looks as though Roberts, Seelt, Huggins, Abdullahi and others are being seen as capable of playing a part in the squad.

Two more signings, or quality loans, and I'd believe we are staying up.

    2 CBs of calibre.

That would be enough to have a real chance.

Of course more strengthens that but the mobility of that midfield will make things happen based on last night.

Lots to be positive about with the second half team as well, not good enough as a full side but individually there’s some in there ready to compete for some minutes.

Young players can break through in the Premier League, even if it’s only 1 or 2 of them steps up it’s a win, some good loans needed.

Roberts, Aleksic and Ab all continue to make me torn what we do u til January, Huggins I’ve mentioned and JS have both absolutely but massive ‘keep here’ markers on them for me over the 2 games.

Sporting will give a great indication, be more like a proper game as they have fans all over Portugal and will put numbers in the stadium.
