Enjoying the Aussie v Lions RFU. The Aussies seem to be putting up a bit of a fight, and threatening to score, since going 24-5 down. The Lions were totally dominant first half. And as I type the Aussies score a try and convert. Now 12-24.
I think the Lions eased off a bit. They had a try disallowed too, although I thought the tackler released the scorer before he had to release the ball, so it was it bit marginal. Great to see Finn Russell is still unarguably the best scrum half in world rugby too.
The Lions' scrum half was/is Jamison Gibson-Park. Finn Russell plays at Number 10/Stand-Off/Outside Half. Not that it matters, 'cos they won
Yeah for sure. Bit of a smug moment for me as I said he’d clean up the heavyweight division to my mates when he was at cruiserweight and they all laughed at me saying his size would mean he wouldn’t stand a chance. This was back when everyone thought Joshua was actually good. Not really sure what Usyk does from here, doesn’t seem like he’s about the money particularly so not sure if he’d be interested in fighting Fury again having already beaten him twice. Basically pointless fighting anyone in the division tbh such is the ability gap.
Parker is the most deserving. Possibly Kabayel after that to finish up with. He beats both comfortably though. If he carries on eventually he'll lose to someone he has no right losing to so hopefully he retires before that happens.
Yeah up there with my favourite fighters ever. Probably second behind GGG. I do like the way Eastern European fighters conduct themselves, no bullshit just straight to the point in interviews and usually the way they fight is similar.
