The old we don't want players that don't what to be here and no player is bigger than the club are the top text book mental gymnastics in this scenario.
Eddie on Isak today. “It was my decision. I decided to send him home due to the speculation around him. The last thing he wanted is to be sat in the stand watching, that wasn’t fair to him. But i’m confident he will be a Newcastle player come the end of the window.” Doesn’t sound great tbh. Hope I’m wrong.
Eddie Howe has had a ****ing nightmare with his Isak stance and comments. “Wasn’t fair”?! What the **** does that even mean? Eurgh what a shambles.
Before the game he said he wasn’t involved because “he was managing his game time”. If all was well, Isak could have said, No, I’m fine boss. Something stinks to high heaven.
Malanga is a good signing, I think we need Trafford cos Pope is just so dodgy. Seems obvious a replacement for Isak is needed too and a replacement for Wilson so, two strikers.
Howe to @bbcnewcastle on transfers: "I'd say I'm hopeful rather than confident because we're not in control of the market or agents, players and other clubs. I can assure everybody we are a hundred per cent on it and trying to do things quickly." **** me it just gets worse and worse. What on earth is going on?
We have a historic ****ness at signing players. Like everytime we actually sign a player its purely due to us buying out the contract and paying the amount they demand, when we **** around we sign no one.
I also cannot stand missing out on a target cos they demand 75 and we offer 68 that ****s just clubs pretending to sign a player, if it ever falls apart because of those details, the buyer was never ever interested.
“Hopeful” for ****s sake!!! Lascelles, Krafth, Dubravka, and many others from Ashley’s time still here, and we “hope” we can sign players.
Howes comments that Isak didn't travel due to the speculation only fuels said speculation. Either he's off, genuinely, or the management side of the club are woeful
I think he's off, but I think some people are huffing gas if they genuinely don't think some of our clubs practices are all over the joint.
I agree. I'm still positive the club thought someone would buy Bruno last summer. This year it's either Isak or Gordon
