Personally I would’ve gone to Besiktas, think he’ll be more of a rotation option at West Ham depending on the game/oppo. Imagine they’ll play AWB against the better sides

Yeah quite possibly the reason. Guess it depends what other offers he had. Rumours were Leeds, Everton and Fulham had all shown interest but he chose Besiktas over them

 

Obviously sad for Tall Paul but tastes like karma for Trabzonspor. The type of club that would demand their money back… if they’ve actually even paid any of it.
