He's just being rested mate because he's been doing a lot of.... Shopping and lying about on holiday, you have to be careful. Nothing to him not even having a few minutes in the game, nothing at all.
He'll do well for them, I have no doubt. He'll know he needs to train hard and will be under scrutiny to pull his finger out and put in effort. There's skill in him he just need the right mindset and work for it. Away from the UK media circus, surrounded by better player and focussed on football he'll have a good season.
Well yeah, DCL has managed a total of 17 league goals in the last 4 years combined, hardly top of my wishlist.
We need a cb, and another forward if we don't get isak this summer. Or maybe we don't get a forward and sign Isak in Jan for 45m
you lot are really going for it Just need to make sure you aren't making too many changes and losing what got you promoted .
I do know what you mean by that but if we had have kept most of that team, we wouldn’t have stood a chance. I think we’ll bring about 9-10 new players in total. Half of them will be slowly integrated into the squad/team. I’d prefer not to make wholesale changes to the first team to start off with.
Thats a problem for all clubs coming up, making signings that improve the team without upsetting the team spirit that got them there. I think thats what done Ipswich last season, that and signing mainly the best of the championship, who found the step up too great. Sunderland are buying much better calibre of player and really giving themselves a chance.
He’s basically just said ‘his head is all over the place, so I left him at home.’ Isak hasn’t come out and said a word about not wanting to go anywhere or wanting to stay at Newcastle. Neither did Eddie.
Still a long time to go, Welshie. It’s going to be a long season for you with European football. Surely the club know you need bodies in with a lot more quality. I thought this was going to be the summer you were able to go massive?
I could rant about it for a while but I will just use an example of how Newcastle conduct business. We have known for a season we need a GK because Pope just isn't secure enough in the position, James Trafford is an extremely obvious candidate and has been linked. Why don't we just go right in and buy out the contract? Why are we now seeing "City could hijack deal" reports? That's Newcastle United to a tee. Only the inbred fans will be surprised if we do not sign a GK, in fact us getting the deal done will be a pleasant surprise.
