I was there as well Irish. Best atmosphere ever for a game at Somerton. The 2.2 draw in the first leg gave so much confidence for the return.

How we didn't score defeats me.

We were planning our travel to to the away game next round. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Two 60 minute games against Cambridge today. 3-1 and 2-0 to us.
    Robinson back in action.

County, Spurs, City, Bournemouth, in that order. Talk about covering all bases!?

Recall going to Somerton Park a few times most notably a FA Cup win over West Ham.

Funnily enough went to a Newport v Bournemouth fixture in I think 79 as my mate and I wanted to see Derek Showers and also later on when he was at Portsmouth.

Unhappier visits though to see them play City especially the defeat in 1983.

I went to all those as well. Newport v Bournemouth one Boxing Day was a highlight. 5.2 win for Newport with Brian Clark and Howard Goddard scoring all Newport's goals.

BFB, the former park runner (78) who identifies as a man is also hardly impressive. His recent subscription to Cardiff’s Twatt Bar, and close relationships with IB and crowd favourite BT causes concerns amongst local citizens of posh Llandaff. A local lurker was once spotted there lurking!
