The state the country is in, I would encourage children of 16 to turn their backs and look the other way

So the Manchester Airport thugs have finally been brought to stand trail
Under Starmers Stazi and looking at other far less violent cases, they should be getting about 5 years custodial sentence as a minimum
Any other verdict will be a betrayal of any sort of justice

in amongst all the exams they take and lessons they have that we never did both GD's groups had a very high percent of college and uni so none are actually "thick" both GD'S have passed out on their college / further education with Flying colours and so have at least 4 of the 7 / 8 used to come round our house and enjoyed a drink / bite to eat usually brought with them!!!
you always hope that your children will do well Everyone of mine and GRAND KIDS WHERE applicable [ save 1 who is trying to get a plumbing apprenticeship ] but flying honours on his college course!

Many kids have no interest in politics, regardless of how bright they are, they often don’t see the relevance to them.

I was merely pointing out that giving them a say earlier may encourage them to take an interest. I’m not convinced it’s a good idea, but there are some possible upsides to it.

the last 2 GE's has seen Liebour [aka Labour !] adjust their manifest's to attempt to gain votes by extolling thebenefits they would suddenly adopt to give them ... GE BEFORE THE LAST WAS ONE PRIME EXAMPLE..... they were going to vastly reduce or get rid of the UNI's fee's .. also a further other specific "occupations" had the same treatment ... we will do this for you and that for you........

this time they got caught out .. seriously caught out .. Rishi dumped them in it! they were gifted the least supported GE in history [ maybe second? ] as 6 -8 million didnt vote and they had less votes !!! Liebour had 14 years to prepare for .GOV and they screwed it up because [ and they still do it ] spent the time time on slagging off and investigating every tiny miniscule bit of negativity to slag off .GOV or worst individuals!!!
they had 14 years to develop a plan but decided that all the good things they inherited should be cancelled and just 3 month's in invented the "ficticious blackhole" [ thats why they are now uturners [as opposed to Utubers] hoping another 1,000, 000 16&17 year olds might get them re elected next time [ average is another 1500 per seat ] . but this number is out of balance to the electorate as more than a third? of seats will be less than [ maybe a half +] of that average.

as you say how many will actually know why they are voting and for what?
