The neil contract situation has been an issue since the championship. He wanted stupid wages then and wants even higher wages now the club rightly aren’t giving in until he proves himself. I do agree we can’t take the piss out of players that got us here but I don’t think we are, I think he’s just asking for too much I don’t know about cirkin though
Very true but you also have to be careful how much you give them in a rise. No way can they be close to new signings coming in from higher levels imo
im not his biggest fan but would just like the continuity and also the two centre backs I ordered with him
They won't be seen to be taking the pi$$ We can't just give players what they want, we always have to protect the best interest of the club
There's something about Trafford that just doesn't ring true, as a keeper, and I really don't know what it is. As a wild guess, with no proof in any way, I'd say he has a psychological imbalance that will cause him problems. I don't believe he's really confident in himself and has a touch of imposter syndrome If he has a bad spell I think his confidence could be badly affected.
Re James Trafford …not that I know anything about him but you might be onto something Smug. I thought his interview after the game when he saved the 2 penalties was a bit strange. Almost a bit childlike and goofy. The sort of person you can take an instant dislike to without knowing why.
I agree mate, he’s got a very strange personality. He seems to love himself when he’s doing good when he was at Accrington and we beat them he posted on Snapchat calling Sunderland bad so he got stick from fans he ended up arguing with me in private messages apologising and then blocking me on it he seems to love the attention, he reminds me a bit of ramsdale but worse
He's had a bad spell, when he joined Burnley in the PL he really struggled and has bounced back really well from that He's a talented GK for sure and I wouldn't be surprised to see him play regularly at a big club soon
he’s got a €40 million release clause they said they don’t want specifically that but it’ll still be an expensive one can’t see it
Was about to send that, is he going straight to Portugal because that rome flight to Newcastle obviously wouldn't be him if that was the case.
He just strikes me as a bit needy. But, tbh, very difficult to judge when his main experience is Burnley ... ... two totally different scenarios. I remember when he declared himself a Bolton supporter then, when he'd left, mocked the same supporters. A keeper needs to be really solid and he comes across as a bit immature.
Can't believe Nestory Irankunda signed for Watford. We wanted him when he was playing back in Oz, but Bayern jumped. Hes only 19.
Yeah, I’ll take Gyokeres. I think he’ll do a job here and provide good back-up for Isidor and Mayenda.
