Well done to the England ladies . Got through against Sweden eventually having been 2-0 down but the penalty shoot out was a shocker ! I think there was only maybe 2 decent efforts from both teams out of the 14 taken !

Roller Coaster of a game. And yes one of the worst ever penalty shoot outs. Great result..but some shoddy play by England at times..maybe they were a bit nervous about playing Sweden at the top of their game. Very enjoyable if nerve-racking football
The FFF have done Chateauroux a big favour by relegating a team out of the pro leagues. All teams have to submit a budget for the coming season, and that team couldn't. My Friday night football is secured.
I'm watching Wellington Phoenix vs Wrexham. So far Wrexham have been toothless. They are dominating the ball and getting crosses in but the Wellington centre backs aged 20 and 21 are handling everything. Phoenix are also only into their 2nd week of training. Ben Foster has just been interviewed and he has had to say that Phoenix have surprised him. He had to say that because Phoenix may be average League Two standard with a full team. The team playing today is average National League standard, apart from Luke Brooke-Smith (aged 16) who Watford should sign. Second half now with the academy team of Phoenix replacing the first team reserves.

Yes. He is good by A League standards but I'm not sure how good he will be in the Championship. He is good at attacking but his defensive work can be a bit iffy at times. He was okay in the Belgian league and at the bottom of Serie A.
