There is controlled immigration, and then there is this mass immigration of the last decade. It is unsustainable, yet no one knows how to quell it - or maybe they do but don't care. Public services are groaning under the weight of it all. You can blame the Tories for not investing in key services, and you may be right to a point, but that doesn't alter the fact that we are severely struggling. When do you say enough is enough? Where is the breaking point? Do you think it is a good thing that thousands upon thousands of undocumented male migrants are roaming the streets? Or do you agree they should be in camps until we can identify them? Surely it is best to be safe than sorry? The safety of our women and girls should be of paramount importance. And no, not all migrants are sex pests, but some will be, meaning we need to vigilant. Fact is, the old days (for me the 80s and 90s) were far better than this current ****show. I don't suppose it matters now. I'll leave these shores soon enough and will be replaced in an instant. One in, one out.

There was no invitation from the British government but, just like every single migration since WW2 it was either ignored, dismissed, overlooked or quietly welcomed as bringing in foreigners increases competition for work and drives down wages. Decades later companies such as the London Transport Executive saw the benefits of using cheap West Indian migrants as bus conductors and drivers. Fourteen years of degradation and failure, i'd say. Labour are no better. I've travelled extensively over the last thirty years and visited many countries. As much as I loved being abroad, I always looked forward to coming back to dear old England. When I travel now, however, I don't get that yearning to return; in fact, I dread it. I felt happier in Burkina Faso. It's highly lamentable.
