From a financial standpoint I don't mind if mundle was away - he also barely played last season. But he is a big part of the squad and clearly gets along with everyone, that would be the biggest loss
I really like Mundle tbh and still really young so would be disappointed to lose him. Obviously we are well covered if he does go now (and defo on paper already upgraded him, even twice). Weird one though because he's the only player 'reported' as being in contract talks so either we have no intention to sell and are confident hes staying or he wants to move on which has accelerated Lauriente. Side note, I have noticed a lot of the media / interviews for preseason have involved Mundle. Probs nowt in it but something I've noticed.
If Mundle wants away (and there's no evidence he does) then I'm more than happy for him to go. Only want people who want to be part of the ambitious project here.
Anyone think it’s possible that a third party is coming in to invest/ buy out shares from KLD and JS, seems the EPL is very in vouge with American money.
Unfortunately a victim of our success maybe? We need players who can perform now not in a few years and if he isn’t prepared to sit on the bench then probably best for all parties. I like Mundle but I don’t think he’ll be getting a look in on the left now.
seen this free kick and loads of plaudits lots but I'd be livid if he tried something like this for Sunderland Such a low percentage shot and a waste of a glorious opportunity for one of our new 6'2 centre backs to smash a header in
