Adringa was clearly a speakman signing based on Jan interest This guy feels like an RLB one Once Flo & KLD get their men, we’ll just field a 11 of LWs
We are in a winger era, Salah scores goals from in and around the box but wouldn't make him a good striker or even left winger. Play Lauriente to his strengths and he's a brilliant addition on the left, shoehorn him elsewhere and I'm less convinced.
Well he can’t play back to goal and I don’t think his movement centrally is good enough id be incredibly surprised if he isn’t cutting in from the left wing
He was yeah and got slated, part of the main reason Brighton fans don't rate him because he's had to play on the right most of his time there. Actually looked good on the left for them but it's impossible to be ahead of Mitoma
That's why I'm not understanding signing them both, I don't want us to drop 25m on a player to choose to play them out of position? It's just bizarre when you could have someone utilized to the best of their abilities.
I wonder if they think he may support a more "middle" role - he was certainly more "central" at times in the final
Potentially yeah. Listed as a midfielder on Portugal roster and seems to be through of more centrally these days.
if he is to shine in the Premier League, he will need to learn how to kick the ball with his left foot instead of just standing on it
