11th Jul 2025 The JOE Friday Pub Quiz: week 459 Charlie Herbert Hurry up, hurry up. There’s only one of these JOE Friday Pub Quizzes a week, so get on it while it’s still hot. No one likes a cold quiz. I’d rather eat cold chips than take a cold quiz, and cold chips are literally disgusting. Like, who would do that to themselves? Me, if presented with a choice between them and a cold quiz, that’s who. General knowledge, sport, entertainment, booze and fashion logos. They’re the five ingredients in this delectable quiz, which is getting cooler by the minute, so grab a knife and fork and tuck in. https://www.joe.co.uk/news/the-joe-friday-pub-quiz-week-459-2-495919 The 50% Guaranteed Quiz Blew it... 12 I knew I was in trouble when I got the first two guesses wrong. Enjoy
12/25 Guesses didn't go my way this time. Easiest round was the brand logos. I would disagree with Q1 answer, but can't say any more without spoiling it.
18/25 I am very happy with that. I got the questions right that I should of, with one exception, and a handy couple of guesses. Once again, I'm still above average
I got 17 right . . . . and I'm awfully glad that I didn't get the Oasis one right, not having a clue or any interest in them
BBC Weekly quiz: Why is Kew Garden's Palm House closing? Published 17th July 2025 This week saw the UK government announce plans to let 16 and 17-year-olds vote, the men who cut down the famous Sycamore Gap tree sent to prison, and Donald Trump wake a BBC reporter up for a surprise interview, but how much attention did you pay to what else happened in the world over the past seven days? Quiz collated by Ben Fell. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crk650kg4m1o A very poor 2, where Trump saved my bacon: "The Music Dance Experience is officially cancelled." Enjoy
I got a very decent 5, and not guesses either. The 2 i did guess, I got wrong. Cheers @Blond Bombshell.
