Cyril the Swan does a penalty shoot out with kids at half time, Cybil in goals. It was like that. Worse actually.
Bit of a **** up really isn't it. Headline should really say mnufacturers are banned from using chemicals that can harm children.
I can't understand why a lot of guys, can't stick up for the women, when they play. I know they aren't as good or fast, but they are playing for their country. If England men are playing, you see loads of women who like football, getting right behind them.
I actually like womens football. It might not be as good or technical as mens but as long as they are all of similar standard then the competition is fair and decent to watch. PS, it's deffinitely getting better too.
I enjoy watching it, if it is two reasonably decent women teams. I find it can be entertaining when not compared to male football. One of the things I do like is there is way less cheating and far less time spent trying to fool the ref. Without a doubt the penalties tonight were comical, and for the first time in the competition I saw several elbows going in from the Swedes, but when you are that small up against some of our stronger women, that's all you have to protect yourself. I probably got to fancy Spain to win it now. I will watch the Spanish tomorrow in the hope that the Swiss can pull off a shock, but once Spain go two up, I will probably give up. I do think womens football has a long way to go still, as there are a few dominant teams and more than a few absolutely **** ones, but you only improve that by getting more girls involved, but it's not going to help when Dad takes the piss out of womens football, although I suppose it could make them more determined.
Absolutely my thoughts on the bolded bit. I deffo can't watch it if there is an imbalance and the other team is dogshit.
I've nothing against them and wish them all the best, just don't find it entertaining to watch. Similar to women's boxing too, I've no interest in watching women punch eachother in the face unless it's ****ing material.
