We don't have any proven goalscorers in the squad if Sargent leaves huge risk, & I thought he would be worth £20-25m .
We do look like we've recruited well all over the park but losing both Sainz & Sargent for a combined £30m seems cheap .

Borja wanted out & 1 year left on his contract was acceptable but Sargent still has 3 years & if he had no interest in staying shouldn't have extended .

The problem last season we were scoring for fun but couldn't defend for toffee, I hope we don't see a reverse where we are better at the back without anyone that can score.

Impossible to gauge how good this team is with such a drastic overhaul

Can’t believe NCFC would sell Sargent for approx. £14m. Doesn’t make economic sense, but perhaps the hierarchy have been offered add-ons that we don’t know about.

According to the German/European media we accepted the offer yesterday and only a few details remain outstanding

That could be, but the German/European media have been notoriously wrong in the past about our players.
Where did you see that Suffolk?

Agree but as most used exactly the same wording I suspect it was an unofficial briefing from the Club

I can't believe that 16m Euro figure! It must be wrong or there's something else going on like a player added to the deal or easy to achieve add-ons worth 5m Euros. I won't believe it until the club make the announcement.

What was the clubs' valuation for Sarge?

If I remember correctly, the price was nearly £17m

If an offer had been accepted, PinkUn would have had that verified by now and put a story out…

At the Scrimmage just hours before that story came out BK said no one had made a bid that met their valuation, and joked he would be switching his phone off for the next few weeks.

Obviously things can change quickly but that doesn’t sound like a person close to making a deal

Josh Windass has apparently been successful in having his Sheffield Wednesday contract "cancelled" so he can leave as a free agent. Interesting to see if our interest was real now.

Thanks for that, CS. Even that's too low in my opinion.

It's not making sense. I guess we will find out soon enough.

£16m, £17m and £20m have all been mentioned by various sources, which makes me dubious about any of the current rumours. As Suffolk says, if an offer had been accepted, there would surely be a comment about it in the Pinkun.

Impressive highlights as he looks to be a quality player. A Serbian 'expert' sums up his skills like this:

“Mirko Topic is a defensive-minded six with excellent reading of the game. His high interception-to-tackle ratio reflects how well he anticipates danger. Physically, his long legs give him an edge in 1v1 duels, whether it’s trapping opponents or reaching balls others simply couldn’t. On the ball, he stands out for his composure and press resistance. He rarely looks rushed, and if no passing options are available, he’s confident enough to carry the ball and reshape the situation. He’s tidy in possession and offers real security in the build-up phase. While he’s a solid passer across the board, his long balls are arguably his standout quality, whether it’s diagonals, switches of play, or passes into stride, he delivers them with good timing, weight, and communication.”
