Sad news of his death this afternoon.
    Lethal partnership with Pop Robson.

My very first game in 1969 and very first goal
Lifted aloft by my dad to see Wyn 'the leap' Davies jump head and shoulders above everyone else
to score a thumping header into the top right (from my position in the Gallowgate end) goal against Burnley

I remember that as if it was yesterday

    RIP Wyn
my memory of you will live on

Same. Mine used to rave about him and Bryan 'Pop' Robson playing together.

RIP indeed. My grandfather (RIP) also used to wax lyrical about hi when we went to games when I was a lad.

Always remember him terrorising the defences in Europe during the Inter Cities adventure. Great memories.

This is what football does to people. It brings fans and friends and family together.

You remember that just like the kids of this generation remember Isak scoring against Liverpool.

We sometimes as we get older forget the magic it gives our younger fans. It moulds them.

Us. And we shouldn’t fight like we do on this forum because we are all here to support the club. We are all fans. Lest not some people forget. Even if some of us live away and can’t get to games.

And have family and work commitments. When they can’t get to games.

Those who work 60 hour weeks can’t get to games but still support the club just as much as those who can get there.
