Although the new Syrian leadership has signalled it has no appetite for regional war - and quiet, US-backed negotiations with Israel may be under way. Israel sees a red line in the presence of what it regards as Islamist-aligned forces near Druze communities and the Israeli buffer zone. The strikes are as much a deterrent as they are a warning. But the campaign is not without consequence. It's stirring anger on the Syrian street and even dividing opinion among Druze, some of whom reject any association with Israel. Ultimately, these strikes are as political as they are military, aimed at shaping the emerging post-Assad order before it hardens. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c5y99g1vm6rt?post=asset:8ddf665a-65f4-490e-ab7e-66c8e75aadcd#post
Yup. I was listening to him today, boasting with the Bahrain king or whatever and how good American weapons are. Then in the next breath saying how we need peace in Ukraine...hang on mate, you are selling missiles to NATO, what do you think are going to happen with them. I'm the contrary now and actually believe he want's us to have a war with Putin, and I can see him manipulating that situation and it will all be linked to his long term future surival. I swear these ****s actually want a war.
I'm no friend of the EU, but Trump because of his power can manipulate any hatred of them to whole new levels. But individually I love everyone of those countries and I don't want anything manipulated because of what goes on in Brussels. I think Trump and Putin do have one thing in common when it comes to the EU, and that is concerning.
I never pretend where the death of innocents is concerned - I wholly condemn whoever is the perpetrator... that's where you and I differ ..
Why don't you just put the link up and quote the source, rather than just the claim? I suggest you do this because you are being disingenious... https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-...za-says-palestinian-teens-being-shot-genitals This came from the Middle East Eye who are claimed to be funded by none other than Qatar, who has been a key financial supporter of the Palestinian militant organization Hamas, transferring more than $1.8 billion to Hamas over the years. The source is also using the wording 'Channel 4 News' as if to give the story more weight. At least if you are going to do that, put up the CH4 link and a more fuller story than clickbait hate headlines...'The IDF have denied the claims.'
At least 20 people have been killed in a crush at an aid distribution centre in southern Gaza run by the US- and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), the organisation and a local hospital say. The GHF said 19 were trampled to death and one was stabbed "amid a chaotic and dangerous surge" at its site in the Khan Younis area. It added that it believed people "armed and affiliated with Hamas" fomented unrest. But Gaza's Hamas-run Government Media Office denied the claim and accused the GHF of trying to "cover up" a crime. Nasser hospital in Khan Younis said it had received the bodies of 21 people who died from suffocation as a result of tear gas inhalation and a crush at the aid site. It is the first time the GHF has confirmed deaths at one of its aid sites. In a graphic video shared on social media and verified by the BBC, a witness standing on a cart filled with the bodies of six boys and men at Nasser hospital said they had been crushed between fences set up at the GHF site while waiting for food handouts on Wednesday. "They are children. What is it their fault dying for aid?" the man shouts as he holds up the body of one of the boys. "What happened is [that] at the door of the aid [site], the foreigners made a fence here and a fence here," he gestured. "The boys went to the front and the people came and stepped on them." One injured man being treated at the hospital, Mahmoud Fojo, 21, said that when he reached the GHF site he found that contractors were "closing the gates". "People kept gathering and pressuring each other. When people pushed each other, those who couldn't bear it fell down under the people and got run over," he told Reuters news agency. "Those who couldn't stand fell under the people and were crushed. Some people started jumping over the wire fence and got wounded." Another man, Ahmed Abu Omra, said armed contractors standing near the narrow passageways into which the crowds were funnelled had fired "pepper bombs". The Government Media Office accused the security contractors of causing the crush by closing the gates of the site after thousands of people had gathered in narrow channels, and then firing canisters of tear gas and live rounds towards them. A GHF spokesperson said the claim was "completely false". "At no point was tear gas deployed, nor were shots fired into the crowd. Limited use of pepper spray was deployed, only to safeguard againstadditional loss of life. "In at least one instance, an American worker physically entered the violent crowd to rescue a child who was being trampled," they added. At a press briefing later on Wednesday, the first it has staged, GHF spokesperson Chapin Fay said the deadly incident was "instigated by armed Hamas operatives who infiltrated" the crowd and "deliberately incited chaos that led to 20 deaths". He added that the individual who was stabbed was a medic who had attempted to tackle an armed "Hamas affiliate".
Was at a graduation on Tuesday. Partner of herself’s son, as it happens. Two people took to the stage to receive their degrees, waving Palestine flags. I don’t take sides in any of this ****, and I despise the current Israeli government from the bottom of my heart. But I did find myself hoping some ballsy Yid would come out waving an Israeli flag. Just to see what reaction he or she would get tbh.
You won’t find many Jewish parents allowing that sort of attention-seeking at a graduation. Were the brave flag-bearers about as Palestinian as Gregg Wallace?
Definitely not Gregg Wallace’s ethnicity, either of them. The girl might have been Palestinian, her family were sitting behind us, all women. She didn’t do any flag waving tbf, just wore a sash over her gown, in Palestine colours. **** knows where the flag waving bloke was from. Few isolated cheers, a lot of tutting. The tutting made me proud to be British.
I couldn't find a link, but you need to stop making accusations about being disingenuous just because there isn't a link. I took the screenshot from facebook and there wasn't a link, so couldn't source the claim. But saw that Doctors had spoken to Channel 4 news, so thought people could investigate it further. Just because the news is coming from Qatar, it doesn't automatically mean it is false. Unless there is evidence to counter it. Also interesting that you mention the $1.8bn transferred to Hamas from Qatar, because none other than Benny the Butcher was responsible for funnelling that money to Hamas.
I think I'm much better placed to judge what I do ... and don't do... particularly as my judgement isn't warped by hatred and blinkers, like yours.
