Actually my nan is buried in the cemetery in White Hart Lane, which is several hundred yards from the ground. But as I said before, the pub in front of the ground is "The White Hart" and you came out of it into this very short "lane" to get to the West Stand.Coincidence?
This was always on the cards, so hardly a new (pun not intended) development. Pretty sure it's part of the deal we made with Haringey council to get the stadium greenlit Here's an article from 2018 outlining the plans https://www.fairview.co.uk/land-and...ham-hotspur-partners-with-fairview-new-homes/ Makes the view from the Skywalk a bit crap, mind...
Indeed. Glad I did it for my 60th a few years back. You do get some great views up there on a sunny day...
Yeah it’s just more planning applications for something we knew was coming. Still thought it was worth a share as we finally see what they will exactly look like.
What's an extreme sports building? I'd assume skateboarding, climbing, BMX and the like, as most of them aren't really indoors activities.
Following Tottenham Hotspur is a pretty extreme sport and we have to have somewhere to jump off when the latest manager fails to meet expectations.
So, the new women's training centre (cough...NFL facility...cough!) has passed planning. That'll need significant funding, along with the hotel (currently stalled)...for lack of funding. There's still a sum of money that ENIC could draw down, in return for shares (unlikely to be anywhere close to enough), but it's beyond time to get some MAJOR investors involved. Enough of the slowly, slowly nonsense. It's time to push on...in all directions. We've been in second gear for years now...
++++ STADIUM BEER UPDATE ++++ Heineken are OUT.... Molson Coors is IN!! As a reformed boozer, I don't really give a rat's arse, but those who do will be pleased to note that the swap does not affect the Beavertown Brewery tie in. Neck Oil, which I didn't much care for, when I could drink, will still be available...
A few years ago the company I work for brought a warehouse to develop, they let Beavertown have a short lease , I met someone from Beavertown who gave me a tour of the site, there was a stack 6 foot high of packs of Neckoil but the tins had dents in them , I asked what will happen to them , he replied help your self as they would only get skipped , my motor was loaded to the roof and just about made it home without breaking the rear springs
