Instead of searching the market availability for a new CEO we have chosen to make the long and arduous potential journey as short as possible by just going down the hall to an existing employee. So much for bringing in new blood to up our ante and considering we look as if we will be going into the new season short of possibly a lot of players due to injury, including some that are classed as long term, and that includes our only goalie of note in Max. I have this dreadful feeling that we will fall off a cliff this season unless some kind of effort is made to bring seasoned Championship players to boost our ranks and at least give us a chance of competing at a reasonable level. If we continue to do all the maintenance with a can of 3 in 1 oil and a pipe wrench we will get the inevitable result which is apathy followed by unreasonable expectations.
Bristol City monitor Ipswich Town striker, other Championship clubs keen Ipswich Town striker Ali Ali-Hamadi is not keen on dropping to League One and Bristol City are interested, according to EFL Analysis. Ipswich Town will see new players join and existing ones depart this summer as they prepare for the 2025/26 campaign. ITFC face fights to keep key men like Omari Hutchinson, but other exits could be more amicable. https://the72.co.uk/2025/07/16/ipswich-town-ali-al-hamadi-bristol-city-transfer-interest/
Can Pring out for 12 weeks with his injury. That’s him, McNally and Max out for a good chunk of season start
typical BCFC injury prone .................... bit like the opposite of Lourdes ............. ps stayed in a camp site very close to Lourdes for about 3 days/nights amazingly after dark there were 100's of bats flying around the 6 or 7 "street type lights" over looking the site. The site it self was not sparred their aerial antics as they flew amongst the tent and campers as well come about 3am they were nearly all gone.........
