Like Arsenal havent just dropped a quarter of a billion on Gyokeres, Zubimendi, Madueke and that other guy, and are still trying to get Eze and/or Rodrygo.
Great ground if only to watch pissed away fans roll down the hill towards it. Eagerly awaiting Wrexham but off to Perpignan on Friday to see us lift the European Cup so that’ll be a new ground of sorts.
Do you reckon you'll get a Wrexham ticket? Think they only give about a thousand. Gonna be a nightmare for us. We go there Easter Monday too which will be a great day out but make it even more popular. Sky will probably move it til 8pm. Tbf I'm buying every ticket up until Christmas regardless of whether I go or not to make sure I get Pompey but not sure if I want to do that up til March as well.
yeah, I don't get how they can spend that much considering they've only had 2 seasons in the CL and lost all their expensive players for nothing when Arteta arrived. Some dodginess going on there with their FFP accounts.
A bit more than that I think. Should do if I’m online at the right time. I’m sure more people go when it’s a new ground but it’s a real schlep and trains are scandalously priced.
Nicolas Jackson to Man United seems to be picking up steam. Heard rumblings yesterday and assumed it was BS rumours, but its seems to have a lot more legs now, with lots of outlets reporting it. United apparently have asked about his availability, but havent yet made a bid. Chelsea have said they are not actively looking to sell Jackson, but with the acquisitions of Delap and Joao Pedro have said they would be open to it if the offer is right. If we ask for more than £50m for Jackson, then United need to look elsewhere, just saying. Was hearing rumours of us putting a £80-100 price tag on him which is insane. You could likely get Osimhen for that so if United bid anywhere near that, they need to have their heads wobbled. Don't see it happening really, with the way Ratcliffe has been penny pinching lately, if he pays stupid money for a player like Jackson, that would be beyond ******ed.
A club with Arsenal in their name being corrupt. Shocked I tell you... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cz9kl400l09o
This feels like a match made in heaven. With Jackson, Hojlund and Zirkzee I can see them breaking into the top 14.
Great cross and header by Girelli for the Italian womens second goal, to see them through to the semi-finals.
