It's a really tough division. Strong teams coming down, strong teams coming up....the usual suspects in and around....I'll be watching with interest...so glad we're not involved! Some cracking fixtures on the first weekend mind.
TBH I'm absolutely loving all this. We have a PL season to look forward to and a 'bizarro season' which will be equally fascinating. The Coventry supporters are absolutely losing their minds and believing they're capable of making the top two. They're signing no one, of any quality, and probably losing Rudoni who's their only player of any real potential. This is a typical post from their forum. (Bear in mind they're being totally serious.) "Take into account, FL is going to be pushing for top six or even promotion places from the offset." Another delusional poster. "Lampard is aiming for the top 2 places. I actually think we have a decent chance of making it. In my predictions I have us in 2nd after Ipswich." Ha'way now, is it me or are these people insane ... ... and is this Frank Lampard? please log in to view this image
I know its hard logistically as they are businesses but football clubs should be protected in a similar way to say a listed building, they are the foundations of communities and should not be able to just be ran into the ground by owners
What a poor appointment that is. In my opinion anyway. I have seen nothing that suggests he is a coach who deserves his reputation. I thought they would have made a much better choice than that. Maybe they have been turned down a lot.
Reminiscent of Donald ****ing up the deal with Dell. I hope it is also a blessing in disguise and their KLD comes along.
Gutted for Wednesday, proper club and always found there fans great when they come up/when I’ve been there, makes me all the more grateful for KLD
Last time I was there we were one nil up and the the SW fan showed me the axe under his sheep skin coat that he was going to bury in my head at full time Luckily for me they equalised and I got out with my head intact Aye lovely fans.
There’s always one nutter I guess, was the first Keane year i was there and they were spot on, no axes spotted thankfully
Coventry, at virtually full strength, took a real battering behind closed doors at home to Monaco. The game finished 0-5 and could've been much more. The Coventry fans are starting to panic now ... ... it looks like Lampard is priming Simms to be their main striker this season
