If we get Stach I think Gruev might be sold, he is two years into a 4yr deal, nearing the time we consider extending his contract. If he isn’t getting game time maybe we’ll sell in January. Despite claims we are after both, I feel the Stach delay was more because it was Longstaff or Stach, personally I’d have preferred Stach, if it is the case, we could have ended with none. Let’s get Longstaff done and dusted as you feel it’s the next three after him that’s going to be important
Yeh had the same thoughts too Risty - re stach and/or longstaff but hope it’s both. Re Gruev… it’s World Cup year for him and he’s a key cog for Bulgaria so has extra incentive to be wanting game time. Stach looks like for like so it either indicates him slipping down the order or being on his way.
