I'm happy enough for us to start the season with Hume and Huggins as right back options. If we get two good centre backs in then O'Nien when fit can also cover there.
Do people not think we could be looking at these type players thinking if they have a good afcon then can do a quick flip for a tidy profit?
I think there's a chance of that happening of course. But much more likely is they have a good premier league season and we can flip for a tidy profit. It's not massively out of the question that a Diarra or a Sadiki have a good season and then Chelsea spunk £80m at us.
About time, I thought Speakman and that new fella who's name I haven't learnt yet had took a few weeks off it had gone so quiet! Was about to call for them to be sacked!
Interesting one this, I wonder how much we will spend here because although hes not old at 27, I do wonder if we cap how much we spend with the thoughts of potential resale value. Would never imagine us spending £20m on someone going towards their later 20s, would of thought those kind of fees would be saved for 25 and under.
They wanted about €20m iirc, but if his release clause has ended and with a year left they might come to a more incentivised deal that helps us more.
Yeah sounds about right, think it was 20m + a bit more so that they got the whole 20m after losing 10% sell on.
