I think it’s catch 22. You cannot get a WP without a “job offer” so to speak, and you cannot play a player without a WP, but you can agree all of the details outside of that.

I remember you posting something about KLD when he first arrived, something along the lines of you'd re-possessed cars from gypsy sites amongst other things you'd done and done so without fear but that you had seen something in KLD that had you had previously seen only in top class operators that had made you have a little fear and a lot of respect for him because he was so clinical and clear headed and ruthless.

That struck a chord with me as I've met a couple of people like that in my life, both of them nice lads but utterly driven, ruthless and won't let anything get in the way of their end game.

When you have KLD's background, support network and family ambition then its a heady mix and I'm chuffed we've got him.
