If they sign Ekitike, fair enough. We'll just move on to someone else and Chelsea will swoop in for them. Isak going nowhere.

 

Ive never been bothered about Ekitike. I think there’s better out there than him especially at £75m. But if he comes, great. If he replaces Isak…..not so much.

 

Isak is the the most important.

 

Could be a great ploy by the club, refuse to talk about Isak and put in a bid just below what Frankfurt want to force Liverpool to bid their money on Ekitike and leave Isak alone. Then offer Isak a bumper contract to tie him down for the next 5 years.

 

I suspect that is what it is. We'll have another striker lined up.

This - get him signed up and a CB (asap to bed in over preseason) in and I'd think most fans would be delighted with that as a window if that was it for incomings and outgoings.

Don't get me wrong would be very exciting having a player like Ekitike in the squad but think this could be a decent season for Osula (who is about to turn 22) covering in for Isak. Then you have Elanga, Gordon, maybe Joelinton behind those two for crisis/emergencies up top.

 

Well, whatever the outcome of all this, it certainly beats the days of waiting to hear whether we've managed to secure the services of Shefki Kuqi on loan.

Why are we pissing about with patient terms for Ekitike. Imagine if we lose him because of trying to get “clever” with payment terms.

@Magdad Your right get your wife involved and get this deal over the line. @Rum & Black for 2 You need to not try and negotiate on NUFC behalf with pissing about with fees and payment terms.
