PSG just got out done by same tactic twice by Chelsea pumping it long into the huge gap left by Mendes at LB. Once that was done and Chelsea took full advantage they didn’t know what to do.

Cucurella has to be the most annoying player around atm. One day he’ll actually get a bad tackle on him and unfortunately won’t be much sympathy around because any time he’s touched by an opponent it’s 6 rolls or holding his face like he’s been punched. Unfortunately refs normally fall for the dramatics.

Actually thought this ref was decent. Didnt put up with all the crap that normally get away with where someone tries to win a foul by stopping or falling over as soon as someone comes near and once foul was given told them to crack on rather than spend 5 minutes talking to each player

City signed new deal with puma. 10 years deal worth minimum of £1bn

Uniteds with adidas worth £90m however ours is apparently only worth £60m? I get city’s being bigger as it’s long term so lose ability to move or increase the value is anything happens but we seem to be lagging behind there? Club is pretty much at the top table only behind Bayern barca and Madrid yet still way behind Manchester teams?

I just looked it up and Liverpools kit deal is £60m a year for 5 years.
United and City's deals are for 10 years, which is probably another reason that they get more because they are tied in for 10 years now.
Same with player wages, the longer the length of the deal you sign, the higher wages you can command for compensation of essentially locking yourself into a deal.

See I would think would be the other way. If committing to 10 years you get a slightly worse deal than doing multiple short ones. In most business if you sign up for a subscription service (which this essentially is) you get discount for doing multiple year deals compared to short ones.
1, it gives the company reviving the money a guaranteed income for X years that can help future planning.
2, removed the need to spend money and time renegotiating a renewal
3, means if performance drops then not running risk of being in a weaker negotiating period when it comes to renewal.

so LFC getting 60m for 5 years is £300m income. Would need a new deal at £140m a season for next 5 years just to break even with city’s deal which isn’t happening.

Yeah but in the example you use, YOU are paying for a service, and you get a discount because YOU are tying yourself down for a service for a long time, so they know they have you.
With a kit deal, the service provider (that being the kit manufacturer) is paying YOU (you being the football club) for the honour of providing you with a service, and in return they get to put their logo on an internationally popular shirt that will be sold in the tens of million worldwide.

For example, I doubt you could convince Netflix to pay YOU to watch Netflix.
Where as famous fashion companies often pay celebrities to wear (and therefore advertise) their brands.

I think LFCs deal has more performance incentives / rewards though?
