I'm really surprised at this.....felt they would call in Bethell for sure.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a one test pick given it’s old trafford and a specialist spinner is probably needed….possibly see bethell come in for the final test

then again given up trying to work out how they go about their selections as I get it wrong every time

 

Me too. The thing about Bethell is he gives them an option in the batting order as well as his spin.......I see both Crawley and Pope as vulnerable before Oz.
In fact,I would be hiding my head in my hands if Crawley,in his current form, opens for us at the Gabba!

Gill was bang out of order imo and it just fired England up more. Once had someone threaten to punch my head in once during a match - i told him he could crack on but it would hurt him WAY more than me as I was wearing a helmet at the time!

My daughter was going with her boyfriend. I can’t as I’m working overtime so not an option. Probably a good thing I didn’t get tickets!
