I did read he’d said he wanted to see what teams in Italy were interested so we had already moved on

 

Let's see what would i choose... Harrogate or Naples.

 

Having been to both I’d choose Harrogate. And I hate Harrogate.

Been to Italy many times and love it but never to Naples and it was on my list until two friends came back from a 3 week driving tour around the whole country last week. They said the one place they hated was Naples, filthy from about 10K in to the centre. They were booked to stay for two nights but left after the first one.

 

Agreed. Been only once and its a **** hole. Never again!

 

I believe the ‘old town’ is ok but my recollection is it’s like driving through a third world shanty town. This was 20 years ago but it didn’t look like a place you could smarten up without an atom bomb. We abandoned our day trip. I would however highly recommend a fly drive trip flying into Naples. Hire a car, visit Herculaneum and pompeii, round the bay of Naples to the amalfi coast. Loads of great stop off places. One of the best holidays I’ve had once we reversed out of Naples and headed for sorrento.

Wakefield is a shytehole of outstanding standard. The city centre is infested with druggies/beggars and low lifes who make women feel unsafe. I actually think this country is the worst in Europe and the arsehole if it had one.

 

Here's two just for good measure .....hang on make it 3 we've gone that far down ... we're getting out for a week on Thursday it's like going into respite

I Wakey's defence of Wakefield being a **** hole. The whole of West Yorkshire is a ****ing **** hole and I've spent the last 2 to 3 years travelling the county for work.

 

Maybe when were introducing prospective new buys to the area and trying to sell it to them, they should be blindfolded

 

Don't the players live in Harrogate which is a rather posh area of North Yorkshire
