My information is that the decision may not have been entirely mutual. Concerns have been expressed about a relatively junior member of the backroom staff travelling to away games on the team coach, as well as other alleged examples of high handedness. It wouldn’t surprise me if some within the club have wanted to go in a different direction, away from where one employee attracts so much attention on herself.
This doesn't sound good. And the bland website piece was as unconvincing as anything I've read on there over the past 10 years. It may be a storm in a teacup, but I'm still not convinced everything is as rosy at CAFC as it's being painted. Sure, promotion was a terrific achievement. But that doesn't mean our troubles are over. Only a fool would think it does. PS: I know I've done it again Elfs, but Tracey Leaburn is definitely not off-topic, even if she is leaving the Club...
Not criticising your thread starting Elfs. Everyone here is welcome to start a thread on any subject There's only one rule - anything that will divide opinion on party political lines goes in the Current affairs & politics thread. All other subjects - whether they are football, Charlton, or not - are open for discussion and thread creation. Don't worry about what certain others think of the way we do things here. If they really cared they would engage and post, not carp from a distance My PS earlier was only about the following; The green 'OFF TOPIC' thread header only need be used when the thread being started is not about football (or sport in general) or Charlton. Tracey Leaburn and what's going on surrounding her departure from CAFC is definitely on topic. So I removed the off-topic header. So please keep creating threads for whatever you wish to discuss. I hope more information comes out about Tracey Leaburn's departure. We'll have to judge for ourselves what might have some truth in it or what is merely speculation. As mentioned, personally I'm concerned. And I think there may well be more coming out on this story, so the subject definitely deserves a thread of its own.
