    Tbf Newcastle aren’t the rivals anymore, don’t even consider them a North East team the oil licking dweebs. Their local rivals are now Al-Hilal.

    Us and Boro only North East sides in the two top tiers I’m afraid.

    Yep always been a huge fan of his, hated that he went to that lot

    They signed well when Ashworth was there but struggled since so hoping they get this one massively wrong

    Isak is going to be the main man with Ekitike as his junior. They've got a lot of games to play this year so both will play plenty - but now they have the option to sometimes use the 442 they did with Wilson and isak.

    Genuinely think the headchopper cash runs out before they make a real run. There are 4 elite established clubs that they'd have to get past to do that - and the richest club in the world is sat midtable waiting for someone competent to arrive.

    I'm a huge fan of Josh Sargent and I think he's capable of stepping up to being a bottom half prem player in the right team, but £20m is an outrageous price for him to be fair.

    Personally don't think they'll sell Isak this year, they've just spent 60m on his best mate to keep him around.

    Finally signing a backup striker for a UCL campaign is just logical imo.

    Est thing about if they get Hugo, they could have had him 2-3 year back for £14m but tried to penny pinch and got gazumpted.
