Travel back to the 1970s at free nostalgic exhibition in Hull

I had to laugh when I saw that headline. Hull never left the 1970s. There are only two decent schools in the city, half the population lives in 1960s ghettos and votes loony Labour. If you plan to attend the exhibition then take a candle with you as the lights will probably go out when the 50p in the electric meter runs out.

There are currently in excess of 700,000 empty properties in the UK, so we don't really have a housing shortage. What we do have is a system where private landlords control the majority of the empty housing stock and would prefer to keep them empty as demand verses supply keeps there profits high.

Humberside Police have to be some of the most useless ****ers in the country. I know, it is a hard title to win with so much competition.

I was walking home down a short street in central ‘Ull. There was an ambulance and a police car parked outside a foreign barbers. A policeman came towards me and told me that I could not continue down the street. I pointed down the street in the direction where I live. He told me that I still could not go down the street and I would have to go some other way.

So I told him he was a “f***ing stupid rozzer” overstepping his authority. It was hardly like there was a huge crowd of onlookers gathering. I suppose that being white, straight and English, I am aggrieved to find that he did not have the urge to arrest me for those three offences (which would have been a career ending decision for the useless cretin). The location suggests that the person being treated was probably a resident of the hotel a couple of hundred yards away, so some friends of asylum seekers won’t be getting their Deliveroo or Just Eats orders this evening.

 

So...nobody?

 

Does this include in imaginary scenarios? Where a BBQ may or may not be involved?
