Same here. When i think of these holidays I always think of Rodney in only fools and horses winning the competition for a holiday in Majorca and becoming one of the 'groovy gang' for a week. I might be totally wrong but I get thoughts of "have a couple of drinks tonight but don't forget you are up at 8 in the morning to watch the team train". "Groovy"

    Sounds about right...
When I pay my C. Tax, I call 300300 and do it through their telephone payment system. After I've done it, the voice says...... 'if you want to speak to an advisor, call 300300.'

But I'm already on 300300, For F**k Sake.

Having worked for HCC some years hence, I'm not surprised. Some of the managers were dickheads and the councillors were a bunch of old soaks, who went around in a clique. A bit like a geriatric mafia.

Acun can't be as strapped for cash as some make out, apparently he's upgraded his Bombardier private jet to a Boeing 737, paint job and all. :emoticon-0138-think

Defo not his, it’s an operational aircraft that used every day for the airline. Not just used for city flights

Yeah but how much does that cost to book out for the team and all the staff/fans? Plus all the accommodation and other bits too, just seems like we could have gone to Scotland or Ireland and trained there.

We could have kicked the **** out of East Fife, Stranraer and Albion Rovers, get the morale up.

Indeed, but I'm not the one that claimed the 'Botanic regulars' flew out on Acun's private jet. :emoticon-0138-think
