That's what I thought - but the new contract is called an 'academy scholarship' and commits him to signing his first professional contract with us on his 17th birthday in 2026 - we've done it with a few - look at who he turned down to sign it ... PSG and Barcelona ... Citeh and Chelsea .... plus a few lesser lights
