I thought it was more his knee and ankle injuries that put him out and stalled his development. But I'm sure the scouting team will do their homework on his attitude and work ethic.
Great gif BTW the Ekitike fallacy stems from a lack of knowledge about the player. It's the old 'he's a striker' error. Ekitike is actually a forward that can play striker. Perhaps Liverpool fans have the excuse of emotional decisions on this, but our fans should know about the player by now for Christs sake.
I’ll be honest, I don’t really know. It’s just what I’ve read. I agree though, we do seem to concentrate on bringing the ‘right’ kind of person as well as player in.
As I said, maybe we are looking to have more versatility and ability to change tactics from just 433. Having a group of forwards who can play all across the front line, or as 10 in behind a centre forward, just gives us more options. Even Isak can play down the left to great effect.
It’s not a gif. It’s a picture of his brother on the way to a wedding just after his brother remembered he’d forgotten his shirt.
I really hope so because we would have two of the best forwards in the world. Gordon and Barnes would all of a sudden become back up.
The only people that say Ekitike has a bad attitude are the butthurt Newcastle fans, that took his decision to join PSG personally. I mean, simply choosing another club isn't a sign of a bad attitude, but the geordies simply told themselves he'd messed us about and he's a horrible person... It's a fallacy. His agent may have done his job and they are snakey, but he simply got his player the move he wanted unfortunately. BTW Bruno trolled Arsenal when he signed for Newcastle, but he hasn't got a bad attitude on or off the pitch. . Quite the opposite.
TBF, my reply to Trev was about Ferguson, not Ekitike. Well, at least I think Trev was talking about Ferguson.
He will be forced into trying to avoid being seen appreciating him, but eventually we will see an acceptance of fate and he'll be seen sucking on the players nuts.
Just thought I'd clear up any doubts Hugo Ekitike is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Eintracht Frankfurt. While he primarily plays as a center-forward, he has also been deployed on the wings and is known for his versatility and adaptability. He was previously at Stade de Reims, where he gained recognition for his goal-scoring ability and performances, particularly in the 2021-2022 Ligue 1 season.
Yeah such an awful guy Ekitike on link to Arsenal Chelsea and Liverpool. "I don’t put aside everything Newcastle did to get me to come. If I had to go abroad, I would have gone there. But when PSG wants you and you’re French, you can’t refuse
I can't believe that a top rated young striker would join us when we already have one of the best strikers on our books. Shearer joined when we already had Ferdinand but Shearer knew that he wasn't going to be 2nd fiddle to Ferdy. £80+m - nah it's not happening. Imo centre back, keeper and Joelinton backup are where the funds are needed.
