hmm. Translated to English it seems to be speculating that Wolves and Sunderland are both looking for a keeper and that Sunderland have been signing from the Belgian league. Seems tenuous to me
Certainly useful having played as a LW and 10 too (although not much). Would be a different profile to what we've targeted so far being 27, but they're openly willing to breaking that trend for the right players.
From memory, our wage bill was, in 23/24, around 80% of turnover. Turnover being just under £40m. That just does not imply at all that the captain is on less than a good welder or electrician can make in a well paid week. He will be on less than he might have been on of course as his contract is an old one, but even then, certain bonuses would have kicked in.
Tbf his contract was renewed the end of the season we finished 6th and we're flying under mowbray - no chance we'd give him a contract like that. And like you say bonuses and clauses etc.
The lad who said ballard is ropey pre season Was first to every ball Seelt was decent, the little of diarra we seen can see why RLB likes him very tenacious
Seelt looks quality to me, the only issue is his injury record. Very similar to Alese, both can be top players but will their bodies allow it. I hope so. I'm not sure what we do about CB because if they both stay fit we're probably well covered but to what extent can we rely on that.
Seelt has only had one injury and it happened to be a serious one. Very different to Alese who continually breaks down every few months
If i recall we signed Triantis as a CB as well who has proven he can play as a DM, albeit in Scotland. If we can sign 1 quality CB then we may have enough cover with Seelt, Alese, Triantis and Onien (assuming Ballard is first choice)
I think he's had a couple now, came back from his ACL was training then on the bench for a bit, then had a setback and out the squad from March onwards.
I think he'd had at least two if not more. Seem to remember he was all recovered and about to make his comeback when he was out again.
That’s to be expected when coming back from an ACL. A solid pre season and he should be fully recovered
Well yeah but he has a hamstring issue before the ACL and then this was again hamstring stuff iirc. Like you say expected after a long period out but definitely still needs to be managed.
