I don't think Poly is suggesting bankrupting the club. I don't think Leedsoflondon is saying don't spend anything. All we want as a fanbase is to see improvements to the team. Burnley and Sunderland are both outspending us at the moment and it's natural to be fearful of being left behind. Im still OK with where we are but I'm becoming increasingly suspicious with every passing day that we are not spending the cash required. The current squad MIGHT finish above Burnley as it stands. That's about it. We need to stop ****ing about and get some targets in.
I don't want to bankrupt the club but we do need to move sooner rather than later and just pay the asking price, even if that means paying a little over the odds. Look at the way Spurs operate. They identified two targets and this week just went out and got them. That's the kind of decisiveness I want to see.
