Türkiye Friendlies Confirmed

Hull City will play two friendlies during their pre-season training camp in Türkiye as part of preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.

Sergej Jakirović’s side will travel to TFF Riva on Sunday 13 July for a seven-day warm weather training camp and will face Turkish sides İstanbulspor and Kasımpaşa S.K.

İstanbulspor, who are under the management of Osman Zeki Korkmaz, finished fourth in the second tier of Turkish football, TFF First League, and will visit TFF Riva on Tuesday 15 July to take on the Tigers in a 6pm kick-off (4pm UK time).

Four days later, City will face Kasımpaşa at their training ground in a 6pm kick-off (4pm UK time). The Apaches finished 10th last season in the Turkish Süper Lig and are now under the management of former City head coach Shota Arveladze.

Looks like Kamara has chosen 17 as his new squad number. @PLT will be pleased as he shares my squad number OCD and 17 is a proper winger’s number.

 

At least Sir Guy has won a pre-season friendly so he’s not as bad as Walter.

 

Is it bollocks, 7, right winger, 11, left winger, (not withstanding outside right and outside left) long established FACT.

Well he can play on both wings so 17 covers both numbers I suppose.

 

If our cashflow problems extended to our kit supplier will there even be any new kit incoming ?

I always set my squad numbers on FM24 as 1-11 for first choices then 12-21 for seconds and so on. Obviously each of the first choice numbers relates to the traditional positioning. 17 is my second choice right winger

The only unconventional number I use is 99 for my sub-keeper because I prefer to use 13 for my second choice right back.

 

For those of a certain age any number after 11 is unconventional, hey ho, times change.

Sparta Rotterdam don’t have fixed squad numbers. They use the old method of having the starting XI wear 1-11 and subs are usually numbered 12-23.

 

None of my business, natuerlich, but surely within that format your reserve right back should be no.12
