Sorry mate but I can't resist this....tax evasion is a crime Only trouble is unlike Spain, you go to prison for it. You should change your avatar to Ancelloti.
Another pretty awful clip of a female copper from the airport brothers’ incident which is now public after being shown in court. They’ve pleaded not guilty. It’s going to kick off if they don’t get serious sentences but some heads really ought to roll regardless. Someone chose to release certain footage and various politicians were very quick to paint these blokes as victims including their MP and the Leader of the House. No chance they only knew as much as the public at the time.
I agree, but I expect this is just the prosecutors side of things and evidence, think it's 4 weeks in total, so expect the defence will have some cock and bull story. Can't believe they would risk a longer sentence for trying their luck. I bet the Spanish and Italian cops would have handled this slightly differently, sometimes it don't pay to be nice, but sadly that's what we are putting on the front line now.
Yeah of course, I thought that even before the trial though as they're literally on camera committing the crime. I suspect they'll be going for some nonsense self defence angle tbh. Might even throw some racism in. At least going to trial means no reduced sentence assuming they're found guilty. Think there'll be riots again if they're not. Bang in middle of summer holidays too.
I was reading the Kent rag today, and some homeless guy robbed a couple of bottles of wine from some property, the owner caught him. Went to court he got 28 months....28 months ffs, some people are commiting horrendous crimes and getting less than that.
@Sucky don't know where it was because only just caught it on the news... 8 arrests and 14 vehicles seized during crackdown on Deliveroo/Just Eat etc drivers/riders.
