Most reports seem to suggest we are still around £10m under Burnley's valuation. If that's the case and they won't budge then we need to just move on from Trafford, quickly.

And I can't imagine Howe is in Italy when the lafs have just come back in for training. Do any genuine reports confirm his whereabouts?

Nope. Like I said, spurious at best, I'm afraid! The only fact is that bookies make us favorite ahead of Liverpool for Guehi, been a bit of a shift in the last day, but it's still 6/4.

I wonder if we are not buying players because we are the ones holding back?

Maybe we are waiting on the outcome of the City charges?

I know it’s not but I’m struggling to rationalise the delays in signings especially when Eddie said we needed to do our business early!

That's why we are rich. You don't get rich by spending all your money...

In all seriousness, Sunderland are taking a big gamble - again - in the hope of staying up. If it works, then fair play to them. But if they go straight down it will probably cripple them financially for a few years. A risk worth taking I guess, but a risk all the same.

I think some of them are good. Remember they need to finish 17th they are not playing for the top 4.

I don’t think it is. Some handy players being signed and they are trying to avoid relegation.

Not challenge for the top 4.

Adingra is **** and Brighton fans are delighted... The others are nobodies.

That cm they bought is a dung beetle that scored past England so a selling club pulled their short sighted eyes out.

2 of them yes. Diarra just recently ripped the England team to shreds. And scored.

Le Fee played for them last season and was class. Albeit in the championship.

Talbi has bags of potential and is super fast.

Have you watched any of them?

Diarra just destroyed our England team recently and scored.

He’s a beast of a player mate honestly.
