Israel isn't going anywhere and I think most people know that by now. What Israel need to recognise now is that they don't need to behave like one of those ****ty little dogs with small man syndrome and keep lashing at at everybody around them. Pretty sure that if the Palestinians have their own state, the thugs like Hamas would no longer have any backing or reason to exist.

Some of them, probably. The serious Arab countries intervening will help make them less frequent and probably less serious but yes I think the threat will remain and there’ll be sporadic attacks akin to those that happened regularly but weren’t newsworthy here.

I don't think the vast majority of Gazan Palestinians wanted war ... whilst nobody probably could have have predicted the levels of casualties, devastation and forced population displacement that have occurred, they would have expected US backed Israeli retribution inevitably leading to many multiples of the deaths inflicted by the Hamas atrocity ... and therefore, I believe, if given a choice, would not have wanted it ... or war.
